Axflow Holding AB recently acquired the Cork based company, Induchem Group. Justin Fennell, Partner, recently led the team at P.J. O’Driscoll & Sons LLP in advising the shareholders of Induchem Group in this sale.
Induchem Group started out in 1982 as a distributor of steam traps and pipe support 
solutions and later expanded its product by becoming a technical solution provider in its sectors. The company is a specialist provider of fluid handling solutions, which predominately focuses on valves, pipe solutions, mixers, and pneumatics and now serves a wide range of market segments with the majority of customers being in pharma, power generation, chemicals, petrochemical, design and engineering. Induchem Group and the Axflow Group are both family businesses. Induchem’s owner and Managing Director David Carroll is the second generation of the company, while Axflow is part of the Axel Johnson Group, which is a fifth generation family business.
